Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has received version update 7.0.0, which adds the final Challenger Pack for the current Fighters Pass and a host of fighter balance changes. It also adds support for new Mii costumes like Cuphead, Altair from Assassin’s Creed, Rabbids, MegaMan.EXE from Mega Man Battle Network and X from Mega Man X. Players can also purchase Fighter Pass 2 from the eShop for $29.99.

Among the fighter balance changes are shield size increases for the likes of Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Captain Falcon and more. Other fighters like Samus and Dark Samus have extended launch distances. Check out some of the buffs below with the full list of changes here and see how your main(s) fared.

Though the current Fighters Pass for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now effectively complete, six more Challenger Packs will be added with Fighters Pass 2. These will become available in the coming months, all the way up to December 2021. Details on the fighters haven’t been revealed (though rumors indicate Crash Bandicoot could be next) but they’ve all been decided in advance. As always, stay tuned for more details.
