Synthetik 2

Flow Fire Games has revealed the first “raw gameplay” of Synthetik 2, its follow-up to the acclaimed roguelike shooter Synthetik: Legion Rising. The sequel will be entering early access on August 19th and releasing in 2022. Despite the new perspective, the gameplay still follows many of the same tenets from reloading to movement affecting recoil.

Fans won’t have to wait till August to get their hands on the early access release. Synthetik 2 will receive a demo on June 16th as part of the Steam Next Fest. This will include two classes, “custom class building” and a floor of enemies along with a boss fight.

Along with the 3D isometric perspective, Synthetik 2 will have a new progression system for “near-infinite replay value”, new classes and Factions with their own unique weapons. Two factions, specializations, roughly 50 weapons and items and five floors will make up the early access release with four player co-op and modding features also planned. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
