That doesn't mean a new Divinity game on the cards "right now" as per Larian's Michael Douse.
The event will have three days of reveals, gameplay and news from indie studios.
"Development is proceeding," says Larian chief Swen Vincke.
"Much further than Divinity: Original Sin 2," according to the developer.
Larian CEO Swen Vincke also discussed max party size, noting that six characters "could certainly work too."
"I really don't think you can make Baldur's Gate 3 without saying this is going to be a triple-A game," says executive producer David Walgrave.
Larian are also looking to add complexity to the game's romance systems.
It seems a console version will have to wait.
"The thing with turn-based logic is that everybody understands it," says senior designer Edouard Imbert.
1.5 million words of dialogue, hundreds of spells, Attitude and Crime Systems, and much more await.
Early access will launch with five Origins characters and six classes.
