Developer Red Barrels announced last year that the long-awaited horror title is set to launch for PC sometime later in 2022.
Co-founder Philippe Morin likens to the first two games to movies and says "Your journey to freedom will be a long one" in the 2022 title.
After being abducted, players must survive a terrifying facility with all kinds of horrors, either alone or with up to four other players.
