Bandai Namco’s Tales of Symphonia Remastered releases on February 17th, 2023, worldwide for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Based on the 2003 GameCube action RPG, it sees protagonist Lloyd Irving embarking on a quest to save two worlds. Check out the latest trailer below.

Tales of Symphonia has received extensive praise for its story-telling, combat, and presentation. In terms of improvements, the remaster offers better visuals (unfortunately locked to 30 FPS) and “improved” gameplay. Local co-op is also supported, allowing up to four players to partake in combat. It remains to be seen if Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which features additional content, will be included.

In addition to the Standard Edition, there’s a $50 Chosen Edition. It includes a metal case, art prints, and character stickers in addition to the game. Pre-orders are currently available across all platforms. Stay tuned for more details on the remaster and new gameplay in the coming months.
