Developer Striking Distance Studios’ The Callisto Protocol is one of the most highly-anticipated horror games coming in the near future, and while information on the gameplay front has remained scant for a long time, as recently promised by its developers, that’s going to change with the next issue of the Game Informer magazine.

Game Informer has released a new screenshot (you can view it above) for The Callisto Protocol in its report about its upcoming magazine issue, and we have a good look at our tensed-up protagonist. We also get a closer look at the two-headed monster, which seems to have an important role considering that it is also prominently featured in the image.

Suffice to say, The Callisto Protocol looks absolutely gorgeous on a visual level so far, thanks to high-fidelity facial meshes, immaculate lighting, and stunning art direction. Fans can expect to hear more about its gameplay in the coming weeks as the Game Informer issue 346 rolls out.
