Ron Gilbert and Double Fine studios are behind The Cave, a game that looks all sorts of awesome. They have released a character trailer which shows the characters in the game that are playable. The game is set inside a cave and the trailer tells you their motivation of going inside the cave.

Assemble your team of three from seven unlikely adventurers, each with their own unique personalities and stories, then descend into the mysterious depths to explore locations including a subterranean amusement park and a medieval castle, not to mention a fully armed and ready-to-launch nuclear tipped ICBM. The Cave awaits.

The game will be released on a myriad of platforms. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
