A new Incursion, new Gear Sets and more arriving today.
Agents at the ready – update 1.2 aka Conflict for Tom Clancy’s The Division is now ready to download. Though servers will only be coming back online after maintenance around 3 AM PST, the update can be downloaded in the meantime. It will require 4.5 GB of HDD space.
Conflict adds quite a number of new features to the game. Along with hijacking extractions (wherein players cut the rope on loot extractions in the Dark Zone, potentially stealing another player’s items), it introduces a new Incursion called Clear Sky, four new Gear Sets, High Value Targets scattered throughout the city (with the promise of great loot should you topple the most challenging ones), new weapons and a ton of different fixes for faulty talents and other bugs.
The Division has been under fire since April due to the poorly received Falcon Lost Incursion and sheer number of bugs introduced so Conflict could be make-or-break for the player base. Regardless, for a free update, it offers quite a lot of things to do. Let us know what you think of it when the servers come back online.
