The Division Loadouts Update Arrives on May 23rd

In its latest State of the Game for Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft Massive that it would be releasing update 1.6.1 on May 23rd. Patch notes would be published on May 22nd, detailing all the changes.

This update is better known as the one which adds Loadouts. Players can store selections of Gear, weapons, talents and perks as a separate loadout and then switch between these whenever required. Up to five loadouts can be saved and inventory space in one’s backpack has been increased to better facilitate gear management.

Ubisoft Massive also revealed some details about the next Elite Task Force that will be working with Ubisoft Reflections on update 1.7/1.8. Update 1.7 will see tweaks based on the ETF’s feedback but the group’s main task will be changes in update 1.8. Unlike with update 1.6, Massive will actually have time to implement these changes.
