The Division Update 1.7 Now Available For All Platforms

New features like Global Events, Classified Gear Sets and Commendations arrive.

Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft Massive’s MMO shooter that’s seen its fair share of ups and downs, has finally received update 1.7 following a maintenance period on servers. The update is currently live for all platforms so hurry up and download it now.

Update 1.7 adds a ton of new features but the biggest is probably Global Events. These are week-long events which feature modifiers on all PvE content and Global Tokens that can be earned from specific missions. These Tokens can be exchanged for caches containing Classified Gear Sets, upgraded versions of current Gear Sets that provide higher stats and 6 piece bonuses.

Commendations have also been added with the update and completing certain tasks will allow players to unlock new patches to display. Face masks have also been added as a new cosmetic item and players can also head to the Base of Operations to customize their look. This is on top of the usual run of balance changes and bug fixes.
