The Division’s Latest Patch Can Kill You Near Certain Ladders – Report

Issues in Ubisoft Massive's MMO/shooter seemingly continue.

Tom Clancy's The Division

Earlier today, Ubisoft Massive released a new patch for Tom Clancy’s The Division, fixing – among other issues – a glitch where players could phase through walls while using the jumping jack emote near a ladder.

Though the patch remedied this issue, it seems to have created a far worse glitch in its place. One Reddit user reported that going down a certain ladder could down you. He clarified that he wasn’t attempting the earlier ladder glitch and that this wasn’t the case for all ladders. In the video he provided though, it seemed that it was 100 percent possible to die near the ladder seen if you stood near it for too long. Another Reddit user also confirmed being able to replicate the glitch.

It’s kind of sad at this point, the number of issues that are emerging with The Division. Regardless, Ubisoft Massive is responding quickly to glitches (well, some of them anyway) and working to patch them quickly. We’ll see if this one is eventually patched as well.
