The Division’s Underground Missions Will Drop Update 1.1/1.2 Gear Sets

Massive finally caves to player requests.

The Division Underground

Remember when Ubisoft Massive refused to include all Gear Sets in The Division’s Underground DLC to encourage players to focus on different activities to get what they wanted? This approach received heavy criticism since it meant getting sets like Striker’s Battlegear or Sentry’s Call meant doing the painful Falcon Lost Incursion or venturing into the Dark Zone.

With the upcoming July 28th maintenance, this will finally be changing. Massive will deploy a patch that allows Underground operations with Directives to drop Gear Sets from update 1.1 and update 1.2. It’s also possible to receive more loot when you finish operations with four or more Directives.

Named enemies will also have increased drop rates across all difficulties and multi-phase operations will provide better quality gear. If that weren’t enough, Underground Sealed Caches now have a chance to grant all weapon types along with all update 1.3 Gear Sets. This patch also fixes a bug where players could play single phase operations on Heroic by pressing a combination of buttons on their device.
