The Elder Scrolls: Blades was announced at E3 as a full-fledged Elder Scrolls adventure that would be coming to smartphones this year. Now, we get to see a new demonstration of it, thanks to Bethesda Game Studios demoing it on the just unveiled iPhone XS (the new iPhone) during Apple’s keynote. And who demoed the footage? It was none other than Bethesda Game Studios’ charismatic head Todd Howard.

The actual footage was very similar to what we have already seen at E3, but it really does look gorgeous on the new iPhone. Howard himself was appreciative of the visuals, noting that graphics technology has really come a very long way in the last decade, with mobile devices now capable of hosting games as ambitious as Blades.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is launching on iOS and Android, but Howard has also previously hinted that it will come to all other platforms, including PC, VR, and consoles. You can check out the new footage for the game for yourself below.
