SNK’s upcoming fighter The King of Fighters 15 is shaping up to be a packed game, with the promise of a roster of 39 playable characters at launch (among other things). Thus far, a number of these 39 fighters have been revealed – 33, to be precise – and recently, SNK revealed another one.
Character #34 in The King of Fighters 15’s impressive roster is Whip. Fans of the series will, of course, recognize her- she made her first appearance in the series in The King of Fighters ’99 all the way back in, well, 1999. Her weapon of choice, as her name suggests, is a whip, but there’s no word yet on what team she’ll be part of in KOF15.
Whip has been commonly associated with a couple of other characters in the series, including the likes of K’ and Kula Diamond. The former has, of course, been confirmed for the upcoming fighter’s roster as well, so here’s hoping that Kula gets revealed not long from now to complete the set.
SNK recently confirmed a beta for the game for PS5 and PS4 players, running from November 12 to November 22. Read more on that through here.
The King of Fighters 15 launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 17, 2022.
