With 39 fighters available at launch, The King of Fighters 15 is going to have a healthy roster for players to dive into right off the bat. SNK has been revealing these characters at a pretty regular clip, and Tokyo Game Show, it seems, has been a big part of their reveal plans. Hot on the heels of having confirmed series newcomer Isla as one of the fighters in the game, they’ve now revealed another fighter.

Unlike Isla, this new addition, K’, is a name that series fans will be quite familiar with. First appearing in The King of Fighters ’99, he has since appeared in nearly all mainline instalments of the series. In addition to his regular punches and kicks and what have you, K’ likes unleashing fire-infused attacks to do deadly damage. Check out the trailer below to see him in action.

The King of Fighters 15 will launch on February 17, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out its PC requirements through here. Eight characters from the game’s launch roster are yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for those updates in the coming weeks.
