SNK has been enjoying no shortage of acclaim for The King of Fighters 15 since its launch, and the developer has kept the game’s momentum going with free updates, new characters, patches, and more. Unfortunately, there are still some issues left in the game, and one of them is going to necessitate a step that the player base probably won’t like.

SNK recently took to Twitter to announce that it’s are planning to reset the Fair Play scores for The King of Fighters 15 players. Fair Play scores were affected by a bug that hard locks the game, the company explained, and will have to be reset once that bug has been addressed. Fair Play scores quantify a particular player’s online match behavior, and is earned by completing ranked matches, or after a certain amount of time passes without any disconnects.

SNK has not given any timeframe for when this reset will take place, but more details will likely be shared in the near future, so stay tuned for those updates.
