the last of us part 2

Sony and Naughty Dog have released a new trailer for The Last of Us Part 2, as promised, focusing on the game’s story as we count the days down to its launch less than two months from now.

There’s a lot going on here- we a look at several familiar characters, including the likes of Joel, Ellie, and Tommy, while various newcomers are also shown, some of them for the first time. Some scenes in there look to be set during the five year jump that the game’s main story is set after, while plenty of them show the situations Ellie is going to find herself in during the story’s main conflict with a new unknown and violent group of people. Take a look below.

Recently having officially wrapped up development, The Last of Us Part 2 is out on June 19 exclusively for the PS4, and though there isn’t long left, make sure you avoid spoilers in these few weeks. The game was subject to a massive leak recently, reportedly caused by hackers. When it does come out, it’s going to take up a lot of space on your system, requiring 100 GB of free storage, while its physical release will be shipping on two discs.
