Bloober Team’s The Medium sees players switching between the physical and spiritual worlds, dealing with a strange threat while resolving a mystery. But as it turns out, there are scarier things that await. Check out the trailer below to see for yourself.
The trailer also teases a new character based on actor Marcin Dorociński. His name isn’t revealed but the character will apparently “up the stakes” for Marianne. As for the other supernatural threats, they seem to employ tentacles and inhabit the spiritual realm. What is their purpose and how do they relate to the primary antagonist, The Maw?
We’ll have to wait for more details in the coming weeks. The Medium is currently slated to release on January 28th 2021 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s roughly eight to ten hours long with a third of the game focusing on the intriguing Dual Reality gameplay. For more details, check out our feature here.
