The Summer Game Fest showcase on June 6th will kick off several days’ worth of gaming announcements, but the next big event is undoubtedly the Xbox Games Showcase and The Outer Worlds 2 Direct on June 8th. Alongside more gameplay and details, Obsidian Entertainment will allegedly open pre-orders and announce the sci-fi RPG’s release date.
This is according to Dealabs’ billbil-kun, citing “recent investigations.” Pre-order bonuses reportedly include a combat pack consisting of Zane’s uniform armor, Ed the company drone, a gun and a dagger. Zane is assumed to be a new character and potential crew member for the player. Perhaps he’ll be revealed during the Direct.
And if you think there’s a chance for a potential shadow drop, the leaker says this won’t be the case, calling it “certain.”
