The Outer Worlds 2

Even with its price dropped from $80 to $70, Obsidian Entertainment is adamant about The Outer Worlds 2 going “much bigger and deeper” than its predecessor. Nevertheless, you can still count on meeting some intriguing companions. You can check out all of them in the latest trailer from Opening Night Live.

There are six companions in total, ranging from the Earth Directorate recruit Niles and Rift worshipper Aza to Order of the Ascendant assassin Marisol and Tristen, a judge of the Protectorate. Not everyone will take to the player, and depending on your decisions, they may not join you. Of course, whether you pursue certain actions also determines whether their questlines open up.

The Outer Worlds 2 launches on October 29th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It will also be available on day one for Game Pass subscribers. Head here to learn more about the 90+ Perks, including Psychopath and Serial Killer, which lean into those who like to slay NPCs and get rewarded for it.
