The Quarry Has Gone Gold 6 Weeks Before Launch

The latest narrative horror from Supermassive Games is out on June 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC.

Supermassive Games’ next big horror thriller The Quarry has officially gone gold. The developer confirmed the news on Twitter ahead of the game’s launch in June. It will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC with 2K Games as the publisher.

The Quarry is about nine teenage camp counselors throwing a party at Hackett’s Quarry. However, their night of revelry quickly turns to horror as they’re hunted by the locals (and something even worse, apparently). Much like Supermassive’s Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, players can control each of the counselors and based on their decisions, help them survive or lead them to a gruesome death.

Featuring Hollywood talent like David Arquette (Scream) and Ariel Winter (Modern Family), The Quarry has some 186 endings for players to discover. They can also play with up to seven people online, voting on key decisions in the process. There’s also couch co-op where each player controls a different counselor. Of course, those who want a more passive experience can set different personalities for the counselors and watch the action unfold in Movie Mode.
