The Rogue Prince of Persia

After an interminably long period of dormancy, in 2024, the Prince of Persia franchise has suddenly come alive again. In fact, after the seminal Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown earlier in the year, the series has now seen the release of another major game.

The Rogue Prince of Persia, developed by Dead Cells studio Evil Empire, is out now on PC in early access. Similar to Dead Cells, the game is a roguelike sidescrolling action platformer. It features a new, stylized art style and traversal and parkour mechanics that’ll be familiar to fans of the IP. Check out its launch trailer below for a glimpse of what the game will have in store.

You can get more details on the game’s combat and weapons through here, and its platforming and its boss fights through here.
