The Rogue Prince of Persia – Temple of Fire Update Adds Meta Progression, New Biome, and More

The update, which is now available, also brings with it new enemies to take on in combat, as well as a new weapon type.

The Rogue Prince of Persia

During its recent Ubisoft Forward event, Ubisoft unveiled the next major update for side-scrolling roguelite action title The Rogue Prince of Persia. The update, dubbed Temple of Fire, was announced with a trailer that you can check out below.

The Temple of Fire update brings some new content to The Rogue Prince of Persia, including a new biome filled with new traps and challenges that players will have to take on. There are also be two new enemies in the form of the Shielded Warrior and the Duellist, as well as a new weapon type—the Flaming Censers.

Along with all of the new content, The Rogue Prince of Persia is also getting a new meta-progression system with the addition of a new skill tree where players can unlock permanent upgrades for their game that will carry over between runs. Players will be able to make use of Spirit Glimmers to unlock these upgrades.

The Temple of Fire update will be coming to The Rogue Prince of Persia, first to the game’s test branch on Thursday, and eventually, to the main branch of the game.
