CD Projekt RED had initially added HDR support for the Xbox One X last year, and they had promised then that HDR support would also soon be added for the PS4. The HDR patch for PS4 and PS4 Pro was only recently released and while the game runs great so far, it appears that this patch has brought with it some problems as well.

Some players have reported on the official CD Projekt RED forums that they are facing an issue where objects suddenly pop up in front of the player. This ruins the experience of simply travelling the roads amidst the game’s beautiful environments. Some players have even shared videos showcasing this issue, so you can see for yourself what it looks like. Hopefully, CD Projekt RED is already aware of the issue and will release an update soon enough to fix the issue.
