Less to Explore
Finally, while Night City is more dense relative to its overall size, the much touted vertical space is only really important for missions. Sure, you can climb on stuff and get some decent views but there isn’t a whole lot to explore. The Witcher 3’s world is more spaced out and open with a variety of locations to explore, from cities and small towns to underground caves and dense forests. This doesn’t even account for locations like Skellige, which must be traversed to by ship, and have large mountain peaks to go with their bustling shores.
