The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Next-Gen Update is Out Now on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

The update adds 4K and 60 FPS options, a new camera angle, Quick Cast for Signs, mods, content based on Netflix's The Witcher, and more.

The Next-Gen Update for CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. It includes 4K and 60 FPS support, ray-traced global illumination and ambient occlusion, FSR 2.1 support, Photo Mode, quality of life changes and bug fixes, and a new quest. Almost all of Update 4.0’s features are also available for PC, while Xbox One and PS4 gain access to improvements and the new quest. The QoL improvements include an alternate camera angle that resembles the initial gameplay reveal trailer, a dynamic mini-map, Quick Cast for Signs, various mods, and much more. New armor based on Netflix’s The Witcher and an alternate appearance for Dandelion has also been added.
