CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now and while it still has its issues, there’s no denying the awesome quests, challenging but involving combat and amazing visuals. However, arguably the greatest aspect of The Witcher 3 is the Northern Realms the game takes place in. A new video released by the developer showcases some of the beauty you’ll encounter in the game. Be warned: It’s very pretty.
Along with wide open, grassy fields like the game’s starting area, you’ll rush into bustling cities like those of Velen and venture into snowy landscapes. Travel on horseback is encouraged as is sailing across the vast waters. It’s crazy how detailed the world is and don’t even get us started on the sheer level of questing available.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The console versions are currently in the midst of receiving the latest patch, with patch 1.03 available in Europe for PS4.
