CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt rounded off the series on a high note, serving as one of the finer examples of open world RPG adventuring this generation. And while the developer has stated time and time again that the third game would be the last of Geralt’s journeys, it may certainly consider a fourth title at some point.
During a recent Q&A following a management meeting, one of the company’s executives was asked whether they would make The Witcher 4 at some point. “The Witcher was designed as a trilogy and a trilogy cannot have a fourth part, can it?
“We like this world a lot. We invested 15 years of our lives in it and a lot of money. So, we’ll think about [making another Witcher game].”
Right now, the developer currently has its hands full with Cyberpunk 2077, rumoured to be out in 2019 and featuring such things as city creation and seamless multiplayer. Would you like to see The Witcher 4 at some point? Let us know below.
