Before we play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next year on PS4, Xbox One and PC, CD Projekt RED will be bringing The Witcher: Battle Arena out for smartphones and tablets. Unlike the main Witcher series, Battle Arena will be a massive online battle arena or MOBA title in which teams of players will fight against each other.

After announcing sign-ups to take part in the beta for Android, CD Projekt RED released a new multiplayer showcasing the various characters you can choose in the game. This includes an eclectic mix of heroes and villains, with ranged heroes and melee combat fighters. Check them out above.

The Witcher: Battle Arena will be a free to play release and CD Projekt RED is doing a lot to ensure players won’t have to “pay to win”. That means needing to unlock things by playing through the game. The game will also be coming to iOS and Windows Phone so stay tuned.
