Yesterday, Iridium was confirmed as one of the developers for ID@Xbox, and now we’ve finally learned what that game is. There Came An Echo will be a Kinect-based strategy game, originally funded by Kickstarter for release on PC in June, and it features Wil Wheaton, known for his role as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek.

According to OXM, you’ll be able use 500 different voice commands for leading your armies in a near future setting. You can target mines for clearing them and fight other armies. More details will be revealed in the coming months, but for those turned off by the Kinect features, you can also use a controller to play the game.

There are more than 65 developers currently involved with ID@Xbox including Bloober Team (Basement Crawl) and Rebellion (Sniper Elite), with more than 200 games in development. Microsoft is expected to reveal more games at next month’s GDC so stay tuned for further details.
