Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Extended MLG Montage
I confess – I was a little lost during the reveal of Treyarch’s eSports tools for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Not necessarily because of the information provided – heck, some of it like banning and protecting certain abilities/weapons/items during competitive matches sounds pretty cool – but because of the presentation itself. Two professional teams faced off in a series of matches while the new eSports functions were explained. Which is all fine and dandy but then it just kept going and going and going. I’m excited for Halo 5: Guardians’ multiplayer but even the Arena gameplay demo dragged a bit for me. Maybe I’m just not the kind of person to watch hours upon hours of competitive matches for Call of Duty. It just felt odd for Treyarch to only present its information like this rather than with a sweeping and short presentation.
