World of Warcraft Legion

WoW is Legion

Blizzard Entertainment has a rather arduous task ahead. How does it bring back subscribers for its premier MMORPG World of Warcraft, especially considering the losses following Warlords of Draenor? That’s not an easy question to answer so it did the next best thing – showcased a brand new expansion in the form of Legion. We saw the return of the Burning Legion, a new class with the Demon Hunter, a bunch of new zones and dungeons spread across a new continent, two new raids, new world bosses, artifacts and tons more. One has to wonder at this point if the answer is more content or a significant overhaul to World of Warcraft itself. That being said, the game still has millions of subscribers who are paying for more things to do. It’ll be interesting to see how Blizzard evolves its game in the months following Legion’s release, especially considering how it’s one of the few subscription-based MMOs left.
