Rise of the Tomb Raider (11)

Return of the Tomb Raider

Okay, forget for a minute that Lara Croft was slicing up special forces operatives like Sam Fisher on one of his off days. The footage that emerged from Gamescom 2015 following Rise of the Tomb Raider’s presence showcased something we had been longing for since the 2013 reboot – actual raiding of tombs. This one didn’t seem like a simple puzzle either. It was an actual in-depth tomb, ripe for exploring and fraught with excitement. What’s more, Crystal Dynamics have confirmed more such tombs to exist in the upcoming action adventure title. It may not be that big of a deal as long as the overall game is great but we’re happy to see Lara Croft finally going back to her roots in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
