Scalebound

Scalebound and Ready

Be honest – did you ever think Platinum Games’ Scalebound would look as cool as it ultimately ended up looking? Granted, there haven’t been a lot of Japanese developers who’ve been able to pull off true open world RPGs lately, much less fusing hack and slash mechanics, four player co-op and the ability to command and ride a dragon as well. But Scalebound showed off all this and it looked…fun. We expected a Monster Hunter/Panzer Dragoon rip-off when it was first revealed at E3 2014 but lo and behold, Platinum has surpassed our expectations greatly. Next year’s Holiday season can’t get here soon enough.
