Even with public sentiment against it (to say nothing of that one awkward trailer), Bloober Team still paid proper homage to Konami’s classic. While it swapped in an over-the-shoulder perspective, expanded range of exploration, and numerous changes to levels, Silent Hill 2 Remake maintained the same atmosphere, delivering an unforgettably terrifying experience that still haunts us.
