Microsoft has made its fair share of mistakes with the Xbox brand. It may not be the most egregious, but not pursuing a sequel to Tango Gameworks’ Hi-Fi Rush is a choice. Everything about the experience is bursting with energy, from the initial introduction to Chai and Vandelay’s twisted campus to the tutorials and main protagonists. On top of this is the incredible combat, which combines the timing of rhythm games with an extensive range of skills and combos, gorgeous cel-shaded visuals and an incredible soundtrack.
