Splatoon 2
Is Splatoon 2 going to win an award for best competitive multiplayer shooter? No but it’s certainly the most outlandish and one of the most fun. Much like its predecessor, players control Inklings that can either swim through ink on the ground in their Squid form or fight as humanoids, spraying ink all over their opponents. Splatoon 2 adds a bevy of new weapons and items like jet packs and dual pistols with free updates further expanding the weapon pool. The campaign is also tons of fun and the Octo Expansion adds lots of additional story challenges on top of this. All in all, a worthy buy if you want some less-than-serious shooting action.
