This long-awaited sequel finds the titular troubled writer still in Bright Falls alongside new protagonist FBI Agent Saga Anderson who’s in town investigating a series of ritualistic murders. Both of their stories wrap together neatly, interwoven superbly amidst a backdrop of warped reality. Whilst the first Alan Wake was more action-orientated, Alan Wake II is undeniably shuffling and fear-inducing, a true survival horror masterpiece.
