Days Gone
There’s no escaping Days Gone as a divisive entity. This open world trek through verdant, zombie infested Oregon didn’t resonate with critics, but gamers loved it and – encapsulating the term ‘sleeper hit’ more so than most – its fandom continues to grow. There are calls for a sequel, and it’s clear to see why: strategically funnelling throngs of freakers through carefully laid traps, eliminating their numbers en masse is still, to this day, a unique highlight which never grows tiresome.
