Also known as “That other project Sony confirmed at E3, wait, why is this on Kickstarter”, Ys Net’s Shenmue 3 has a lot to live up to. Development has apparently been proceeding smoothly with Unreal Engine 4 as the base engine and a collaboration with Lakshya Digital. More than a release date, we’d like to see some gameplay and how the combat will work. Is Ryo Hazuki’s journey as enthralling as it was nearly two decades ago? The answer to that question is still a ways off unfortunately.
