The Order: 1886
Ready At Dawn’s The Order: 1886 has come under fire for several things. The gameplay has been criticized as too linear and that’s not even getting into the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen due to a 1920×800 resolution. That being said, every other visual aspect of the game is amazing.
Running at a steady 30 frames per second, the intricate detailing on the uniforms on the Knights of the Round is the first thing to catch your attention. Unlike many current gen console exclusives, The Order: 1886 uses MSAA 4x to bring all those details into razor sharp clarity.
The sheer quality of the texture work, the lighting, ambient occlusion and shadows is no joke either. Even if The Order: 1886 fails in the story-telling department, there’s no denying the triumph of its visuals.
