Trek to Yomi

Trek to Yomi, Flying Wild Hog’s cinematic side-scrolling action-adventure, is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. It’s also playable on Game Pass for consoles and PC. Check out the launch trailer here which showcases the stylish brutality that can be expected.

The story focuses on Hiroki, a young swordsman who makes a vow to his dying master. When struck by tragedy, he swears vengeance, journeying beyond life and death to achieve the same. Taking significant inspiration from filmmaker Akira Kurosawa’s work, Trek to Yomi features a monochrome aesthetic and appropriately gruesome hack and slash combat.

In terms of length, it offers about four to six hours of gameplay. However, there are multiple endings and three difficulty options to choose from. Beating the game also unlocks One-Hit Kill Mode to really put your skills to the test. Stay tuned for more updates on the title in the coming days.
