The Division

As if trying a little too hard to provide a compelling experience to closed beta players of Tom Clancy’s The Division this week, Ubisoft has released a list of known issues with the same and how players can work around them.

For example, on all platforms, the world textures render very slowly when you respawn. PC players will experience significant FPS drops if they use VSync or windowed/borderless modes. There may also be graphical corruptions and artifacts when using Nvidia GPUs.

Some are fairly more specific – in the mission “Saving Private O’Brian”, you won’t be attacked by the second wave of enemies if you kill the first too fast, thus prompting you to restart the mission. Also, make sure to renew Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus before going into the Dark Zone – if either service runs out when you’re inside, you’ll be stuck in the Dark Zone’s checkpoint.

The Division‘s closed beta goes live first tomorrow on Xbox One at 1 AM PST. It will go live on PS4 and PC on January 29th. The closed beta ends on January 31st.
