UK Software Charts: Dead Island Riptide Still at Number 1

Now this is getting ridiculous.

Dead Island Riptide (6)
Despite the release of titles like the retail version of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead and Atlus’s Persona 4: Arena, Techland’s Dead Island: Riptide continues to reign at the number 1 spot in the UK, according to the latest UKIE Games Charts from Gfk Chart-Track.

The game has seen a 55 percent drop in sales in the past week, but still continues to do well. It should be noted that the only other title to spend three weeks consecutively on top was Bioshock Infinite, which is currently number 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is at number 2, with a 60 per cent rise in sales following retail promotions (that popped up in the wake of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ announcement).

The Walking Dead is currently at number 9, while Persona 4: Arena is at number 11. Tomb Raider is still going strong, at number 3, while Injustice falls to fourth place and FIFA 13 drops to fifth place.
