Naughty Dog writer Amy Hennig, who has been known as the main creative driver for the studio’s highly successful Uncharted series and who was apparently leading the team behind Uncharted 4 for the PlayStation 4. She worked at Naughty Dog for ten years.

A Sony rep told IGN that, “We can confirm that Amy Hennig has left Naughty Dog. Amy has made significant contributions to the game industry and we appreciate all she has done for Naughty Dog. The development timeline of Uncharted will not be impacted.”

What’s interesting is that “trusted sources” in Naughty Dog says that Hennig was “forced out” and only just finished up on March 3rd. Apparently, it was none other than Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, the duo who created The Last of Us, who were responsible and they are said to be in charge of the Uncharted series now. Again, this is all just a rumour so take it with a grain of salt.

What are your thoughts on this development regardless? Let us know below.
