InXile’s Wasteland 3 closed out Microsoft’s Inside Xbox Live show at X019 with a new gameplay trailer. We got see more of Colorado and all of its post-apocalyptic horrors. More importantly, there’s a release date – the tactical RPG releases on May 19th 2020 worldwide.
The story focuses on a Ranger Squad called Team November as they struggle to survive the frozen landscape of Colorado. Along the way, they run across The Patriarch who tasks them with killing his three “children”. Players will utilize turn-based tactics and strategy to overcome the odds.
Along with weapons like sniper rifles and beam rifles, players will also have a vehicle that can be customized (and even fight alongside them). With the promise of deep story-telling and impactful choices, not to mention story co-op support, Wasteland 3 is looking pretty good. It’s coming to Xbox One, PC and PS4. Xbox Game Pass owners will also be able to play it on the service at launch.
