According to product manager David Thériault, that is.

A recent advertisement on the PlayStation Blog indicated that we would receive a new trailer and release date for Ubisoft Montreal’s Watch Dogs soon. It seems that this promise will be delivered on soon as product manager David Thériault recently tweeted about this being a #bigweek for the Watch Dogs team.

Watch Dogs was originally set to release on both current and next gen platforms in November 2013, but was delayed until Spring 2014. Reasons cited were the need for extra polish, though Ubisoft’s other cross-generational open world opus Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag launched without a hitch.

Ubisoft has recently stated that Watch Dogs will launch some time between April and June this year. If a release date for Watch Dogs is indeed revealed, we expect it to be in May. Then again, a June release could benefit the game due to the lack of any major titles during E3 season. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
