“We’re breathing down their necks”: Sony to Microsoft

Posted By | On 03rd, Feb. 2010

Speaking to IGN.com, Sony’s senior vice president of marketing and the man in charge of the PlayStation Network, Mr. Peter Dille has claimed that its only a matter of time before the PlayStation 3 will overtake the Xbox 360 in terms of sales. He said: “Its not going to take too long. If you look now, we have sold 31 million units and they have sold closer to 39 million units. Look at where we are today and where they are today, and they had an opportunity to sprint as far ahead of us as possible when they had the head start.”

He also added that Sony are breathing down their necks and they can see them in the rearview mirror and it’s not going to take too long to pass them.

I guess we have to wait and watch on how this drama unfolds.
