Where Winds Meet Crosses 15 Million Players in First Month

Everstone's free-to-play action RPG launched on iOS and Android recently after reaching nine million players on PS5 and PC.

2025 was a year of many surprises, including the explosive popularity of Everstone’s Where Winds Meet. After launching on PS5 and PC in November and making its way to iOS and Android last week, the free-to-play action RPG crossed 15 million players. Considering it reached nine million players in the first two weeks, the mobile releases provided a nice bump.

They also preceded several new pieces of content, including the Velvet Shade Sect, two new bosses, and the Roaring Sands region. On December 21st, players can take on a new Sword Trial alongside the new Hero’s Realm. Everstone will be ending the year with a Fireworks Festival on December 30th, but it has already offered a peek at next year’s content with Imperial Palace.

The free expansion launches by the end of next year, and it’s only one of the “exciting contents” that the development team has planned. Stay tuned for more details on other updates, and check out our review for the base game in the meantime.
