Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase – Final Runtime Hasn’t Been Decided Yet

"We don’t have a final show run time yet. But yes typically we end up close to that 90 mins mark," says GM of Xbox games marketing, Aaron Greenberg.

Microsoft recently announced that the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will be returning in June, serving as the big summer stage for the company to make its next batch of major new announcements and updates. In the coming weeks, we’re going to be getting many more details on the show, but recent reports seemingly confirmed its runtime, suggesting that it would be about an hour and half long.

That, however, doesn’t seem to be something that’s quite set in stone just yet. Taking recently to Twitter, Aaron Greenberg – GM of Xbox games marketing – acknowledged that while Microsoft’s E3 and summer shows generally do tend to be around 90 minutes long, the exact runtime of this year’s showcase isn’t something that has been decided yet. Greenberg says those exact details will be revealed as we get closer to the event.

Of course, Microsoft is going to have plenty to talk about at its show this year, so there’s a good chance that it’s going to be a packed event. In addition to new announcements and updates from third parties, first party megatons such as Redfall, Starfield, Avowed, Forza Motorsport, and many more also have a good chance of taking the stage (some more so than others).

The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will air on June 12 at 10 AM PT, so stay tuned until then for more details as they come in.
